If you reside in or out of the State
of Alabama, you must have an Alabama Marriage License. You can get
a license at the
Baldwin County Courthouse in Bay Minette, Alabama (ph. 251.937.9561).
You must be 18 years of age or older and if you have been divorced,
you must have been so at least 61 days before applying for a license.
Bring proper ID such as, birth certificate, driver’s license,
military records, etc. In Alabama, a Justice of the Peace does
not perform marriage ceremonies.
No permit is needed to be married on public beaches. There can be no alcohol or glass containers on the beaches.
